The hotel is fine for stays of one or two nights. It is conveniently located right next to Genoa's Piazza Principe (main) train station (150 meters) and very close to the historical old town and main square (20 minutes walk). It is also very close to all the palazzos that Genoa is famous for (10-15 minutes walk). The situation of the hotel is ideal for sightseeing and those traveling by train.
Do not expect anything fancy for the price of this hotel. However, it's an adequate, clean and safe place to stay for a night or two. The main advantage of this hotel is its excellent location.

Basic but quirky hotel with lots of character. Fittings were quite basic and austere, but we needed nothing extra. Built into the hill on several levels, it had outdoor areas, guest lounge and a really friendly atmosphere. A few steps to negotiate but staff were on hand eagerly to carry luggage. Wished we had more time to spend there. So close, it can be seen from the train station, and yet not in an unsavoury area.
The steps might be a concern for elderly or disabled. The beds were a little on the hard side.

Hotel Vittoria is very central and the hotel staff were extremely helpful and knowledable about the area and local activities. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they are an asset to the hotel. Hotel matched the website description and was excellenct value for money.
Nothing really to complain about.....if anything I would say the breakfast could have been a little more exciting but that was all.

The hotel is newly remodelled, extremely convenient with particularly good sea views. The rooms are a nice size and the breakfast is good! There is a safe box, a minibar and central heating - that's always a plus.

October stay . nice welcome. excellent position next to bus stop to the airport and to railway station to the Cinque Terre in particular in our case. Our hotel room was quiet (at the back, but suspect it was quiet anyway) room was clean , airy, with flat screen tv , warm .. Breakfast, plentiful, fresh bread, jam, buns, cereals (choice), torte, ham, cheese,, fresh fruit (grapes, apples, oranges..) , juice, coffee, hot choc.. All the staff was helpful and pleasant.
Nothing except it would be nice to have a kettle in the room with tea , coffee. But a detail. really good.

Convenient rooms overlooking the port 🌅. Perfect spot, just a short 10-minute stroll to Museum of World Cultures. They offer early check-in and there's parking available nearby. Just a heads up, the parking costs GBP 19 per day. This spot is definitely the top choice here.

The hotel was comfortable, clean and ideally located for getting out and about either on foot or by the closely located train and bus station. The staff were exceptionally helpful, informative and friendly, making you feel welcome and nothing was a problem for them when you asked for assistance. Good value for money.
